PAN COOKED TUNA WITH ASIAN GREENS

INGREDIENTS

  • 600g tuna steaks

  • 5 broccolini stalks

  • 2 cups bok choy

  • 2 cups napa cabbage

  • 2 tbsp. reduced salt soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tsp. coconut oil

  • 3 lemon wedges

METHOD

  1. Heat the coconut oil in a non-stick fry pan over medium temperature and saute' the cabbage, bok choy and broccolini with garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir occasionally

  2. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the asian greens

  3. Meanwhile, using the same pan cook the tuna for a few minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper

  4. Divide the tuna and asian greens into three meals

  5. Serve one meal with a lemon wedge beside the tuna and store the remaining meals and lemon wedges in the fridge for the next couple of days
